Since the cricket programme started, several partnerships have been established. These include:
The International Cricket Council; Cricket Without Boundaries; Ministry of Youth and Sports; British Army Training Unit Kenya, and the Ministry of Education. Each of these partners has shown a strong interest in supporting our programme in its long-term vision.
As the programme progresses, other partnerships and collaborative efforts will be established for the purposes of sustaining the cricket programme.
The project will ensure integration of strategic issues that touches the livelihoods of the communities of the Laikipia region and ensure their status is improved for their own welfare. This will increase participation and ownership at the local level. The cricket exchange programme will enhance exposure and create interest, thus ensuring that more players will take up the sport.
Recruitment of volunteers, along with continued resource mobilization from donors, will also be means of sustaining the project.
