A film is now being made about the Maasai Warriors’ amazing cricket journey to help their cause by funding another trip to raise awareness at the 2013 World Championships in England at Lord’s! Hopefully the whole LMS playing community can get together to help this dream become a reality. The Maasai were undoubtedly one of the tournaments favourites at the last World Championships, drawing crowds and resporters from far and wide. A player auction was held to raise funds for the Maasai Cricket Warriors charities and players bid to play alongside these cricket legends! Everyone at the tournament joined in to help out a great cause, and the Maasai wickets were cheered louder than any others! Although they failed in their bid to win any of their Happy Hitters matches, the Maasai Cricket Warriors won many friends and supporters and contested a close Charity Match in which the Maasai Africa side were beaten by the Maasai Rest of World team by three wickets.  Read more
